Registration Policy
Each course is carefully monitored to ensure sufficient enrollment to cover
the costs of instruction and materials. Students will be notified at least
48 hours prior to the start of class should low enrollment cause a class to
be cancelled and will be given the following options:
- Transfer to another
class
- Put registration money in ESCROW for up to six months to be applied to a future class
- Receive a full refund
All of our certificate programs are non-credit programs
and do not qualify for college credit. All certificate programs qualify for
Continuing Education Units (CEUs). (Ten contact hours equal 1 CEU)
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
You may register by these methods (full payment is due at time of
registration):

- Fax: 678-466-5089 (payment by debit/credit card required)
- Mail: (payment by credit card or check only, at least 7 days prior to class start date).
Do not send cash. Make check
payable to CSU-CE for exact
amount-no tax and mail to Continuing Education, Clayton State University, 2000 Clayton
State Boulevard, Morrow, GA 30260. Click here to download a

- Invoice: In some instances your company may offer to pay for your
course. We can invoice them directly if you supply us with your company's
purchase order or educational voucher. Please check our
invoice policy for more details.
REFUNDS
If
the student withdraws from a course or transfer to another course, he/she
will be charged a 15% processing fee and receive the following:
- 85%
refund for all withdrawals or credit
towards a transfer made ten or more business days before the start date of the
course

35% refund
for all withdrawals or credit towards a transfer made two to nine
business days before the start of the course

0% refund or credit
made the day before the start date of the course or anytime following.
NOTE: Refunds for online courses
are handled differently by the online providers. Please check their website for
their refund policy.
Please allow four weeks for
refunds to be processed. Check refunds are subject to a ten day business
hold from the date of the check to ensure that funds have cleared out bank. If
he/she paid by credit card, the account will be credited. Failure to attend a
course DOES NOT constitutes a formal withdrawal.
TRANSCRIPTS
To request a transcript for a Continuing Education class, please provide
the following information along with a transcript fee of $10. Accepted methods
of payment: Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.
Transcripts
cannot be released until payment is made.

- Social Security Number
- Telephone Numbers
- Mailing Address
- Approximate dates of attendance
- Student Signature authorizing release

ALUMNI DISCOUNTS
Clayton State University Center for Continuing Education gives a 10%
discount on course registration fees to dues-paying members of the
Clayton State University Alumni Association. Please use the
Alumni Discount Request
form. The request needs to be our sent to and approved by Gid Rowell,
Director of Alumni Relations, who will confirm current status with the
association. He will forward the request to the Center so that
the member will be contacted and registration completed. This discount
is valid with registrations for alumni, spouse and children. Online
courses and some others may be excluded. See Excluded from Discount
Courses list.
